You just gotta love fresh eggs!
These were just plucked from under the warm rump of one of our hens and are on the way to the fridge.
As the season starts to change with the days getting shorter and colder our egg harvests will slow until spring. I have read about cracking the fresh eggs into ice cube trays, freezing them then emptying the trays into freezer bags to store. We might have to give it a shot and see what a frozen egg does when you use it down the road this might make for a nice “fresh” omelet one chilly morning.
