So our lone turkey has turned out to not be a Tom and is now dubbed Tina. How do we know you ask?!
“She” started laying eggs and last I checked toms do not. You may steal that wisdom if you like!
The two in the center are her eggs she laid them a day apart.
The chickens have been drinking out of the goat water again.
Modified the bucket so they can get a better perch on it and put a handle on the back to make it easier to dump for cleaning. Works great and still holds 25gal.
Here he is in all his glory, keeping the hens safe…the un-named rooster.
And the plus one. A quick attempt to keep some onions safe from the Guinea hens..last year they didn’t fare so well 🙁
